Sister Jocelyn Monette is a member of the Sisters of Sion, an international group of women religious who are called to witness to God’s faithful love for the Jewish people and to hope in the promises confided to them for all humanity. They are committed, in light of this gift, to build a world of justice and peace. Sister lived in Rome for three years and in Jerusalem for six years. Since 1985, she has served as the Executive Director of the Catholic Biblical Association of Canada.

Besides her administrative duties, she helps to organize various lecture series, a Children’s Summer Biblical Programme, and regular pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Europe. She is also responsible for producing the CBAC’s journal, The Word is Life and maintains the CBAC website. Sr. Jocelyn is also available to facilitate retreats, Bible study workshops and parish missions.
